Day 1.
We depart from Monte casino at 06h00. Heading out through Brits we stop for a short break at Thabazimbi.

• Now we head to Ellisras and onwards to the Stockport border post.
• After clearing customs and immigration we tackle 70Kms of good gravel before arriving at Mahalapye.
• Again we head north to Sorowe before arriving at Khama Rhino Sanctuary for our overnight stay in simple cabin accommodation.
• Total Distance 620 Kms, 70Kms on Gravel. Total Riding time 8 Hours.

Day 2.
Returning to the main Gaborone / Francistown road we continue north to Francistown.

• After a stop we now head in a westerly direction stopping for lunch in Nata.
• Continuing west to Gweta to our overnight accommodation.
• Total Distance 521Kms Total Riding time 6.5 Hours.

Day 3.
Today we continue in a westerly direction to Maun.

• Departing from Gweta after a leisurely breakfast.
• Arriving in Maun for Lunch
• Afternoon at leisure for Mokoro Trips, Flights over the Delta (not included)
• Total Distance 206Kms Total Riding time 2.5 Hours.

Day 4.
It’s back in the saddle again.

• After a short stop we navigate around the delta in a clockwise direction.
• Stop for fuel at Esther
• Arriving at Shakawe we take a short stop.
• We continue through the border and enter Namibia.
• After a short gravel and sand road we arrive at Ngepi Lodge for our overnight.
• Total Distance 630Kms, 10Kms on Gravel. Total Riding time 8 Hours.

Day 5.
After turning east we take a steady ride through the Caprivi Game reserve.

• Arriving at Kongola for a short stop.
• We join a gravel road toward Linyanti.
• After stopping in the village of Linyanti we continue to Katima Mulilo
• Overnight overlooking the mighty Zambezi.
• Total Distance 402Kms, 188 on Gravel. Total Riding time 8 Hours.

Day 6.
Short day in the saddle today.

• We head south to the Ngoma border post.
• Once we clear the border we continue to Kasane for our overnight stop.
• Total Distance 131Kms. Total Riding time 2 Hours.

Day 7.
Whole day at leisure.

• Explore Kasane.
• Take a game drive. (not included)
• Enjoy a sunset cruise on the Chobe River. (not included)

Day 8.
Today we start our return journey.

• Leaving Kasane we head south avoiding the potholes to Nata.
• After a short stop in Nata we continue to Francistown and our overnight accommodation.
• Total Distance 500Kms. Total Riding time 6 Hours.

Day 9.
From Francistown we head south to Palapye for a short stop.

• We now head for the border post before entry back into South Africa.
• The last leg will take us to Potgietersrus, before joining the N1 south.
• Arriving back at Monte casino late afternoon.
• Total Distance 715Kms Total Riding time 8 Hours.
